Crater of volcano Orongo, Easter Island Shot with a D800 + AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED The most striking images of the trip to Easter Island can be seen from the ancient ceremonial village of Orongo, which was once used as the setting for the ritual of the Bird Man, old event held for the election of the leader of the island. On the one hand, the striking Rano Kau volcano, home to a pond inside. On the opposite side, the troubled Pacific guard pointed islets that seem to spring from the ocean floor, known as the Three Motus. This archaeological site is fifty stone houses that were inhabited only on days of ceremony and some fine examples of petroglyphs of the time.

The Strait of Magellan (Spanish: Estrecho de Magallanes), also called the Straits of Magellan, is a navigable sea route separating mainland South America to the north and Tierra del Fuego to the south. The strait is the most important natural passage between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans but it is considered a difficult route to navigate because of the unpredictable winds and currents and the narrowness of the passage. • Waimea Canyon. the Grand Canyon of the Pacific,

Nikon Nikon D7000 + AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED Waimea Canyon, also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, is a large canyon, approximately ten miles (16 km) long and up to 3,000 feet (900 m) deep, located on the western side of Kauaʻi in the Hawaiian Islands of the United States. Waimea is Hawaiian for "reddish water", a reference to the erosion of the canyon's red soil.[1] The canyon was formed by a deep incision of the Waimea River arising from the extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Waiʻaleʻale, among the wettest places on earth. • In the way to Milford Sound - Fiordland, New Zealand

Truly spectacular, with scenery that has remained unchanged throughout the ages. In 1883 Explorer James Hingston wrote "For thousands of feet upwards the eye looks upon straight cut rocky frontages, not worn smooth by time, or by wind or water, but as sharply defined and as fresh looking in all respects as if riven asunder but yesterday by the stupendous wedges of Titanic Masons.“ James Hingston 1883 Shot with my Panasonic FZ28

  • Milford Sound Fiordland World Heritage Area , New Zealand

Described by Rudyard Kipling as the 'eighth wonder of the world', Milford Sound was carved by glaciers during the ice ages. Milford Sound is breathtaking in any weather. The fiord's cliffs rise vertically from the dark waters, mountain peaks scrape the sky and waterfalls cascade downwards, some as high as 1000 metres. When it rains in Milford Sound, and it often does, those waterfalls multiply with magnificent effect. Shot with Panasonic FZ28

  • Iguana's Farm

Frech Cay, Honduras One of the little known treasures on Roatan is Sherman Arch's Iguana Farm. The Iguana Farm is located along the main paved road in French Key, just past the French Harbour turn off when you are traveling west. Sherman started his Iguana Hideout about 18 years ago and it is a good thing he did. Iguanas have long been the basic ingredient to make iguana stew on Roatan. While today, the iguana is "supposed" to be a protected species on the island, try to tell that to the sling shot totting hunters anytime around any holiday! Today, you will still see iguanas and Wishy Willy Lizards in the open spaces but it they are seen, they will soon be on the run from the "hunters". Shot with Nikon D800 + Nikkor AFS 28-300mm

  • Stature of "The Little Mermaid"

Copenhagen - Denmark The Little Mermaid dwells in an underwater kingdom with her father (the sea king or mer-king), her dowager grandmother, and her five older sisters, each of whom had been born one year apart. When a mermaid turns 15, she is permitted to swim to the surface for the first time to glimpse the world above, and when the sisters become old enough, each of them visits the upper world one at a time every year. As each returns, the Little Mermaid listens longingly to their various descriptions of the world inhabited by human beings. Shot with Panasoni FZ7. Image quality is not gr8, I am sorry!

  • Nyhavn habour

Nyhavn, - Copenhagen, Denmark - with its picturesque harbour with old sailing ships bobbing on the canals’ water, and colourful facades of old houses - is as expected a tourist attraction, along with the nearby Kongens Nytorv, Strøget, and Amalienborg Palace. It is here various canal tour excursions start, too. However, Nyhavn is still popular among the locals, who as soon as weather permits occupy numerous outdoors bars and restaurants by the canal. Others prefer to spend time simply sitting by the waterfront and chatting over some beers. Today, on this formerly gloomy side of the street, the atmosphere is always cosy and familiar.
